Promt and Ayanta sign a distribution agreement for professional translation solutions

Promt (www.e-promt.com), a leading provider of automated translation solutions for business and consumer use, today announced a new distribution agreement for two key Promt business-to-business machine translation solutions:
  • @promt NET Professional is designed for the business market and provided as a client-server solution for Windows networks. Users can share specialized dictionaries and establish common translation terminology patterns on the company level.
  • @promt Intranet PTS 7.0 Edition is a machine translation system based on client-server technology. Based on Microsoft® .NET architecture, PTS works under Microsoft ® IIS and uses the @Promt 7.0 translation engine. The end user interface is a standard web browser; no additional software is required. Data exchanged between server and workstation are carried out under HTTP protocol, with the server and workstations installed on the same local and/or intranet network.

Intended specifically for the business environment, both solutions enable dictionaries to be shared and extended by all users, delivering a more usable, customized solution for the company. Prices start at 100 Euros per set, depending on the requirements of individual customer companies.

By bringing @promt software directly to the French market, Ayanta will enable companies in France to

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with Russian, English, Spanish and German organizations.
  • Speed up the process of document, e-mail and website translation.
  • Build their own unique translation infrastructure by customizing the software for their particular needs.
  • Maintain corporate standards for translated texts.
  • Reduce the cost of professional translation services.

Additionally, Ayanta will develop the market for @Promt 7.0 Personal Office and Professional Office software through the national network of IT companies and translation bureaus.

"At Promt, we firmly believe that the future of software distribution will be based on license sales, which enables small and medium sized businesses to access translation solutions at a realistic price. Ayanta impressed us with their level of expertise and range of products supported - they are the ideal partner for us at this stage of our international growth." explains Alexander Kariagin - International Marketing Director
